BECKENHAM & BROMLEY CHESS CLUB

INTERNAL COMPETITIONS September 2002 - May 2003

The rules for the competition for our two cups remain the same this year as for last. The one competition is divided into two parts. Matches played in the competition will count towards both parts, but each part will produce different winners at the end of the season.

The winner of the Club Championship will be the person who wins and draws most games and therefore scores most points. This is intended to find the best player who is reasonably active in internal games.

The winner of the participation trophy will be the person who accumulates the most grading points, with points being given even for losing. This is intended to find the player who participates most in internal games to a reasonable standard.
