Play cricket at Whitchurch

We field two weekend teams: one Saturday and one Sunday side drawn from one squad of about 50 players. Some players are regular, some occasional.

We're a diverse lot ranging in age from 14 to 60-something drawn from Whitchurch itself, the local area and several commuting players from London, Hampshire and further afield.

We play friendly matches against local clubs, touring sides and on tour ourselves. Most games are 35 or 40-over matches, though we do play a number of summer evening 20/20 matches.

We're always looking for new players to expand the Club's playing squad.

Match fees are currently just £5 for adults and £2 for under-18s. If you want to come and try us out, then there's no obligation beyond your match fees.

If you play regularly, membership subs are £50 for the year for adults and £20 for under 18s.

Spectating

We're delighted to welcome spectators to our cricket matches. The scenery's beautiful, the atmosphere's relaxed and the cricket's usually entertaining. We often have families enjoying a picnic in front of the pavilion and kids can often use the nets for a knockabout. See fixtures for a list of home match dates and times.
